Hoping this is the last picture because this is just ridiculous! We are leaving for an OB appointment this morning, feel like this baby will never come at this point :(
Last belly picture at 40 weeks???
New shades for baby's room...
I ordered blinds for baby's room for darkening/privacy... I think they look pretty good! Now we are just waiting for this little one to arrive :)
Before & After...
Labour started at 4am...
My labour started this morning at 4am, we left for the hospital at 7am. Contractions were about 5-7 minutes apart and extremely painful!! I also had a lot of bloody show. We get to the hospital and I'm checked and am 3-4cm's dialated. The nurse put me on the monitor and it was picking up my contractions for a while at 6-7 mins apart. However, after a couple hours I had no cervical change so the decision was to send me home and see if it gets more intense. After 6 hours of painful contractions they peter out :( We live 65km's from the hospital so I guess it was better safe than sorry... I don't want this baby coming at home!
Fetal Non-Stress Test (NST) today...
Today I had a Fetal Non-Stress Test (NST) at Labour & Delivery and baby is doing good... she's just quiet! It was neat to watch every movement she made and her little heart just beating away. Of course while I'm there I got a few good thumps and kicks... so much for this baby I *never feel*!!! I was so looking forward to not having any false labor trips to L&D with this pregnancy and still I manage to get up there and there's nothing wrong. It's good to know all is well though of course!
At one point I had a strong braxton hicks and the monitor lost her heartrate and the contraction number climbed from 14 to 31 so Chris could actually see that a monitor picks up those nasty contractions. I think it surprised him a bit that these things are *actually* happening and something can detect them! If you look on the sheet you can see where I had the little contraction (squiggly line) and the heartrate is lost.
Little black lines under squares are when I *felt* movement and pushed the button.
Bottom line is baby's heartrate (which should increase with baby's movements).
Stretch marks from my twin pregnancy over 9 years ago! I haven't had any stretch marks with this pregnancy though! :)
